Jesus, priceless is Your Gospel,
Help me treasure this always.
This is the best treasure I have here,
Nothing in this life compares.
Your Word is my life’s foundation,
I desire this more than life,
Men of earth are deceitful beings,
Word of God is truth that stands.

Who has been invite to receive salvation?
Isaiah 55:1-2
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Everyone has been given the chance to enjoy salvation. God, our father calls us back unto Himself. You don’t need to have money to buy; salvation is not for sale. It is free. If you thirst or are broke and cannot pay, the Lord is inviting you unto salvation.

A lot of us have things on our hearts and expecting God to take away, but unfortunately, we are looking elsewhere for redemption, we are looking to rather buy salvation from false prophets by way of consultation fees and others instead of turning to God to receive it for free. God does not only listen to ‘special people’, He is calling on you personally today, ready to listen to all prayers from all people, whether righteous or sinful.

Our hope may be dried up and hearts thirsty. God says “You are welcome, you are the one I am looking for.” Come, everyone who thirsts and has no resource, no bargaining or purchasing power. Repent and be saved. God would lead you beside still waters and restore your soul if only you can turn to Him (Psalm 23:23).

Never go out there and allow people to deceive you. Often, such people themselves need salvation most because they are liars. God invites you to the true source of salvation today, for renewal and restoration. Hear and listen to His call, understand and come to Him.

How do you receive salvation?
The instruction is simple
Isaiah 55:3
Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

There are three important commands we must adhere to
1.Listen diligently and obtain/eat what is good
2.Incline your ear to the Lord
3.Listen with faith: ready to follow and act on what God says

Consult God in faith instead of the false preachers.
 Do not give in to deception.
 Live your entire life believing in God.
 Forsake all evil ways and thoughts that displease God.
 Repent from any evil deeds.
 Ask God for His guidance and put your trust in Him.
 Do not trust in human wisdom.

We must always try to appreciate the pain and the suffering that Jesus went through to save us, sinners. If we do not accept that we are sinners, then we deceive ourselves. Jesus Christ was sent down purposely to die for our sin, to sacrifice His life for ours that we may experience God’s forgiveness and to receive life.

We live in a sinful, perishing world but thankfully, we have a God who saves us from perishing. Our God is mightier than all the mighty men. Is it sickness, unemployment or any other? Whatever area you thirst, the Lord is ready to accept you and cleanse you and to give you water to quench your thirst and milk to nourish you.

Song interlude:
Verse 1
Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one,
Lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying;
Jesus is merciful,
Jesus will save.

Verse 2
Though they are slighting Him,
Still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly,
Plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.

The Lord is merciful and He will save. He is calling on you now, listen to Him and live.
