After a little over two years of dedicated service to the Nativity Congregation – La, Rev. Lawson had received the handing over notes from Rev. Edmond Mensah at Session on Tuesday 4th September, 2018.

On Friday 14th September, Rev Lankai Lawson, accompanied by the Rev. Dagadu, Osu District Minister, His wife, Mrs. Odoley Lawson, a host of family members, the Osu Women’s Fellowship and some members of Session, processed into the premises of the Nativity Congregation to be officially received by the entire Church.

After formal introductions and procedures led by the La District Minister, Rev. Emmanuel B. Djieagu with support from Pres. Theophilus Ankamafio (Nativity Session Clerk), Rev. Lawson was officially handed over to Nativity by Rev. Dagadu. He was received on behalf of the Nativity Congregation – La by the Senior Presbyter, Samuel Okpoti Odamtten.
