Nativity...Yesu Fɔmɔ! Nativity...Nyɔŋmɔ Dromɔ Sɔŋŋ!

“If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we fellowship with one another” (1 John 1:7)

The formation of the Men’s Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana; Nativity Congregation – La, was inspired by the Late J.S. Abbey and the Late J.A Quarshie. The maiden meeting of the fellowship was held on 18th March 1993 and chaired by Rev. A.L.A Hammond, the then second Minister at La.

Mr. Alphonso Laryea, (now Rev. Laryea – rtd.) and Presbyter Daniel Lartey were appointed by the Session to manage the Fellowship with Mr. Daniel Lartey subsequently elected the first President supported by Mr. Samuel Domali, the first Secretary of the Group.

From an initial membership of about a dozen, the fellowship has grown quite significantly. A good number of the members are also actively involved in other aspects in the growth of the church. Prayer meetings, Bible studies, debates, symposia, talks singing practices, visiting of the sick and many others form part of the core activities of the Fellowship.

The primary role of the Fellowship is to assemble men of forty years and above and to teach them to be effective disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
