Will your anchor hold in the storms of life?
When the clouds unfold their wings of strife
When the strong tides lift and the cables strain
Will your anchor drift or firm remain?

We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Steadfast and sure while the billows roll
Fastened to the rock which cannot move
Grounded firm and deep in the saviour’s love

Lord, for our Girls’ Brigade
We humbly seek Thy blessing
We bow before Thy throne
Our weaknesses confessing

O’ Lord we are so frail
But Thou art great and strong
So give us grace to stand
And triumph over all

The Advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Members
and the promotion of habits of Obedience,
Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect
and all that tends towards a true Christian Character.

To help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ
and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility
to find true enrichment of life”.

Bless, Our God, The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade,
and give to it greater power to advance Thy Kingdom throughout the world.
Grant in Thy mercy that, every Member, past and present,
may prove steadfast in their fight against evil,
and true in their allegiance to Thee.
Help us in times of temptation;
make us strong where we are weak;
give us courage in difficulty;
faithfulness in duty; loyalty in friendship;
and finally, by Thy mercy, bring us into Thine everlasting Kingdom,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen!
